UNAVETS continues to expand its presence in Andalusia with the addition of NatureVets Veterinary Hospital, a veterinary centre located in Granada with extensive experience in companion animal care and a strong commitment to comprehensive care, health and the wellbeing of its patients.
Located in the centre of Granada, NatureVets provides 24-hour, 365-day in-person emergency services for companion animals and has a team of 10 veterinarians and 5 veterinary assistants. The hospital has four separate hospitalisation areas for small dogs, large dogs, cats and exotic animals, two operating theatres, an in-house laboratory, two general consultation rooms and a consultation room exclusively for cats, designed to minimise stress in feline patients. It also has an imaging diagnostic consultation room and separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. In addition, it holds Cat Friendly Gold certification.
Its services include internal medicine, surgery, traumatology and orthopaedics, ophthalmology, rehabilitation and physiotherapy, endoscopy, diagnostic imaging, feline medicine, exotic animal medicine, cardiology, oncology, neurology and nutritional advice, among others.
Rosa Sánchez and Nelson Gómez, Veterinary Directors at NatureVets, comment: “Over the years, we have built NatureVets with the idea of creating a space where our patients can receive comprehensive veterinary care and where our team can carry out their work with professionalism and a personal approach. This addition recognises the journey we have taken so far and allows us to face the coming years with new challenges and projects. We are very pleased to share this journey with UNAVETS and to continue shaping the future of NatureVets together with our entire team.”
Enrique Cardona, CEO of UNAVETS, says: “NatureVets is a hospital that stands out for the quality of its team and the breadth of services it provides to its patients. Rosa and Nelson’s track record leading the centre, together with the commitment of its professionals, have been key to consolidating this project in Granada. For UNAVETS, having them join us means adding a highly valuable team and continuing to build a network of professionals who share the same vision of veterinary medicine.”
The addition of NatureVets marks UNAVETS’ arrival in Granada and brings the number of group centres in Andalusia to more than 20. With this acquisition, UNAVETS adds a team of 15 professionals to its network and continues to advance its growth and consolidation project across the Iberian Peninsula.
