UNAVETS strengthens its presence in Tenerife with the addition of +Vet Veterinary Hospital and +Vet San Isidro Veterinary Clinic, two centres located in the south of the island with a team of nearly 30 professionals and a broad portfolio of specialised veterinary services.
+Vet Veterinary Hospital stands out particularly for its diagnostic and technological capabilities. The centre has a computed tomography (CT) scanner, making it currently the only veterinary centre in southern Tenerife equipped with this technology. Its facilities also include a conference room for training sessions and professional meetings.
+Vet provides care across a range of specialties, including traumatology, surgery, ophthalmology, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, dermatology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, cardiology and feline medicine. This diversity enables the team to manage cases of varying complexity and provide specialised care across multiple areas of veterinary medicine.
Leading the project are veterinarians María Gudino, Director of +Vet Veterinary Hospital, and Jormarely Correa, Director of +Vet San Isidro Veterinary Clinic. With their addition to UNAVETS, +Vet is embarking on a new stage, supported by the resources and backing of an established veterinary group, while maintaining the identity and way of working that have characterised both centres.
“We are delighted to join UNAVETS. For our team, this represents an opportunity to continue growing and create new opportunities for collaboration, while maintaining the essence of +Vet and our approach to patient care,” say María Gudino and Jormarely Correa.
Enrique Cardona, CEO of UNAVETS, highlights the value that this addition brings to the group: “+Vet has a large team and distinctive clinical and technological capabilities, particularly as it has the only veterinary CT scanner in southern Tenerife. Its addition allows us to expand our range of specialties on the island and bring on board a team with extensive experience.”
