Hip Dysplasia Training – Zaragoza
On 6 March, a Hip Dysplasia training session took place at the Hotel Zentral AVE in Zaragoza. Attendees had the chance to refresh their knowledge about this disease from an expert, Felipe de Vicente.
Fourth session of the Modular Surgery course – Madrid
Continuous learning in the surgical field was boosted with the fourth session of the Modular Surgery course on 13 March at the Veterios Veterinary Reference Hospital, allowing teams to advance in the acquisition of new skills and techniques.
Communication workshops by Leti – Castellón, Barcelona and Algeciras
Effective communication, crucial for client relationships, was the focus of the workshop given by coach Miguel Moura on 18 March at the San Bernardo Veterinary Hospital in Castellón, providing key tools for improvement. This focus on communication was reinforced with a second workshop on 19 March at the Garbí Veterinary Hospital in Barcelona, underlining the importance of clear and empathetic communication. Subsequently, a third workshop was held on 20 March at the Hotel NH Campo de Gibraltar in Algeciras.
CT Conference – Bilbao
Technology plays a crucial role in veterinary diagnostics. The conference on 27 March on CT scanning given by Pedro Esteve at the Colegio de Veterinarios de Bilbao updated our professionals on the applications and benefits of this diagnostic tool in different illnesses.

Two important webinars on 21 and 28 March, led by Virginia Rodríguez, Regulatory Director of Zoetis, addressed the Royal Decree 666/2023 update on medicine legislation.
Training sessions given by OneVet Group in Portugal
Emergency and Intensive Care Training – Lisbon and Porto
Delivered by Adam Mugford at the Tapada Veterinary Hospital in Lisbon on 24-25 February and 24-25 March and at the Porto Veterinary Hospital on 26-27 February and 26-27 March, this training session focused on triage, shock management, fluid therapy (with differences between species), polytrauma management, intensive monitoring, blood transfusions, respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies, cranioencephalic trauma and endocrine emergencies.
Abdominal Ultrasound Training – Porto
Held on 14 and 15 March at the Veterinary Hospital of Porto and conducted by Juliana Moreira and João Oliveira. The course covered the basics of ultrasound, its practical application (indications, limitations, reports), and the ultrasound evaluation of various abdominal organs, with emphasis on practical sessions.
