The Valvet Actur team The Valvet Actur Veterinary Clinic is staffed by a young, dynamic and professional team. We are dedicated to providing outstanding professional care for all our patients, as well as to helping and guiding clients through their pets’ pathologies. Veterinarians

Cristina García Lorente

Veterinary Director

Cristina graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 2014, but her dream and vocation for the profession goes back to the age of 3.

She went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Clinical Ethology and Animal Welfare in 2015. She completed an internship at a leading hospital and began her clinical experience in the field of small animals, continuing her career in feline medicine.

 She is currently a member of the Feline Medicine Specialty Group of the Spanish Association of Small Animal Veterinarians (GEMFE). In addition to feline consultations, she performs soft tissue surgery in the clinic, ethology, internal medicine and dermatology consultations.

Laura Gómez Serrano

Veterinary

She graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2012. She holds a degree in Orthopaedic Surgery for Small Animals from the same university.

Since then she has been working as a veterinary specialist in Ethology (animal behaviour), and is a leading veterinary surgeon in Zaragoza. She has spoken at workshops, conferences and courses for the prevention of behavioural problems in small animals.

 She is the presenter of the “Four Legs” programme on Aragón Radio. She joined the Valvet Actur team in February 2023 to further her experience in her field and to care for your pets. In addition to her area of specialisation, she also carries out consultations in general medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging.

Veterinarian Technicians & Assistants

María José López Romero

Veterinary Assistant

After graduating Philosophy and Educational Sciences in 2002, for many years she worked in education. Her passion for animals led her to change careers in 2017, and she completed a course in dog and cat grooming.

She joined Valvet Actur as a groomer in December 2018, and since then she has undertaken a number of additional grooming and clinical assistant courses.Her determination to continue studying and her professionalism made her “hang up her scissors” to become the centre’s clinical assistant in April 2022.
