Veterinarians

Cristina González Pastor

Directora Veterinaria

Director of the Puerto Venecia Veterinary Clinic, she is responsible for the General Surgery and Soft Tissue Service and Head of the Assisted Reproduction Service for small animals.

She is a PhD Associate Professor in the Department of Surgical Pathology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza. She obtained her PhD from the University of Zaragoza in the Official Doctorate Programme in Medicine. She has a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s Degree in 

 Initiation to Research in Veterinary Sciences from the University of Zaragoza.

 Her other qualifications include:

 European Postgraduate Degree GPCert in Soft Tissue Surgery.

 European Postgraduate Degree GPCert Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery. 

 2022: F&G Educational Society I Latin American Diploma in surgical specialties, soft tissue, orthopaedics in dogs and cats.

Alexandra Gracia López

Veterinarian

General veterinary surgeon. Head of the Internal Medicine and Feline Medicine Service. Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging. Head of the Neurology and Orthopaedics Service.

A graduate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza. GPCert European Postgraduate Degree in Small Animal Internal Medicine by Improve International. She has attended courses and continuing education courses in small animal medicine organised by A.V.E.P.A.

Marta Sanz Puyo

Veterinarian

Head of the Internal Medicine Service. Head of the Clinical Analysis and Laboratory Testing Service. A graduate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza. .

GPCert European Postgraduate Degree in Small Animal Internal Medicine by Improve International.

Assistants and Technicians

María Sánchez Sancho

Veterinay Assitant

Clinical Veterinary Assistant. She is responsible customer reception and the appointments service and also provides advice in the specialised shop and processes orders.

She assists the veterinary surgeons during clinical consultations and is trained in taking samples and processing laboratory tests. As a veterinary surgical assistant she is charge of patient preparation in the pre-operative room, assistance during surgery, patient recovery and post-operative care. She is a specialist in comprehensive animal nutrition advice. Equine Clinical Assistant CCC Study Centre. A member of Aragón Equestrian Federation.

Marsa Sokolova

Groomer

Trained in dog and cat grooming and aesthetics (ISED Master Class). Specialisation in the following breeds: Poodle, Chinese Crested, West Highland White Terrier.

 Schnauzer, Shih-Tzu, Maltese Bichon and Yorkshire Terrier. She is a specialist in the Scissor Technique, straight and sculpting scissors, stripping technique and coat stripping. She is also trained in the diagnosis of dermatological pathologies and their treatment based on shampoo therapy under veterinary supervision. She is a dog handler at national and international shows.
