The Cat Friendly Clinic programme, spearheaded by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), aims to enhance the experience of cats in veterinary clinics, significantly reducing their stress and making their visits to the vet much easier for both cats and their owners.

A Feline-Friendly Environment from Arrival
- We have a separate, exclusive waiting room for cats, ensuring no stressful contact with dogs or other animals.
- We provide blankets to cover carriers, offering a secure refuge and minimising visibility of strangers.
- We offer spaces to keep carriers off the floor.
Separate Hospitalisation Areas
- Should your cat require hospitalisation, we have dedicated ward areas where cats and dogs are kept separately, thus avoiding unnecessary stress.
- Our cages meet or exceed minimum size requirements, ensuring your cat has adequate space for their comfort during their stay.
Comfortable Consultations
- We offer a safe, secure, and well-equipped consultation/examination room.
- Our appointments are a minimum of 10 minutes long, and we dedicate even more time to sick, elderly, or anxious cats, as well as for behaviour consultations and complex cases.
Facilities
- We have the necessary facilities to anaesthetise cats, if required for any procedure.
Cat-Specific Equipment
- We have additional cat-friendly equipment, including tools for dental care, allowing us to address a wider range of medical needs.
