Anna Pink
Veterinary Director
Anna was born in South Africa and graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the prestigious University of Pretoria in 1997. After completing her studies, she moved to the UK where she worked for over 10 years at small animal veterinary clinics, consolidating her interest in Small Animal Internal Medicine.Throughout her career, Anna has gained extensive experience and passion for general veterinary practice, excelling in soft tissue medicine and surgery. In 2007, Anna moved to Mallorca, and in 2012 she founded CalviàVet with the aim of providing quality and close care for pets.
In her spare time, Anna is interested in art, music and culture, and enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves hiking in nature and snowboarding
Juan José Fernández
Veterinary Director
Juanjo was born in Zaragoza and began his studies in the city, which culminated at the University of Glasgow in 1995. After completing his training, he decided to stay in the UK, where he worked at various veterinary hospitals and clinics.In one of them, he held the position of Chief Veterinarian, leading a team of five veterinarians.
Fernanda Canoura
Veterinarian
Fernanda was born in Buenos Aires, but moved to Mallorca with her family when she was only two years old. She studied Veterinary Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), where she graduated in 2005. During her training, she spent a year at the École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort.In 2006, Fernanda moved to Jersey to work for six months at the Durrell Wildlife Trust, an experience that further enriched her passion for animal care. She then decided to specialise in the small animal clinic, where she has worked with dedication since the end of 2006. Her main interest is in internal medicine and feline medicine, areas in which she has attended numerous courses, conferences and congresses both in Spain and abroad.
Fernanda is a member of Avepa and Gemfe. In addition to her professional career, she is passionate about nature and music.

Lorena García
Veterinary Assistant
Lorena studied at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She arrived in Mallorca with her husband in 2017 and joined the CalviàVet team in October 2021, where she has been working as a Clinical Veterinary Assistant ever since.Lorena has a huge passion for the veterinary world, which is why she dedicates time to study and continuous training. When she is not at the clinic, she loves hiking in the mountains and scuba diving. She also enjoys other hobbies such as dancing and yoga.
Zuzana Valo
Veterinary Assistant
Zuzana went from managing the largest educational centre in Slovakia to working as a receptionist at the veterinary clinic. In 2024, she decided to change careers and join the team.As a receptionist, Zuzana is the first and last person to see the animals and their owners at the clinic, and her passion is to treat them with warmth and respect. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family: her beautiful daughter Sara and her husband Lukas.
Daniela Sartorio
Veterinary Assistant
Daniela completed her studies in Marine Biology in the USA in 1998. After working for a few years in the yachting industry, she decided to start a family in Mallorca.When her daughters were old enough, she started looking for work related to her true passion: animals. She joined the team in 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, horses, dogs and cats.
Rebeca Estévez
Veterinary Assistant
Rebeca has been working in the veterinary sector for almost twenty years. She joined the CalviaVet team in 2023, where she continues to expand her knowledge every day.A great animal lover, she has lived with pets since her childhood, a passion she now shares with her young son, who always asks her how many animals she has cared for and cured in a day.
